Why and Where Could One Pass English Language certifications?

There are many reasons behind opting for English language certifications; whether for a job promotion, a new position, finding a job, obtaining a diploma, enrolling in a university, etc.

In all countries around the world, there are English language centers that help people pass numerous English certifications each year. In this post, we explain the most popular English language certification tests.

English certification: TOEIC

The TOEIC is a certification intended for the recruiter of the ETS Global publisher. It is one of the best-known English certifications as it is the oldest. There are different versions of the TOEIC which assesses different skills in the practice of English (oral and written comprehension, oral and written production). This exam is done on paper, in a group session only. All versions of the TOEIC certification have a validity of 2 years. Learn More (soon to be updated)

English certification: LINGUASKILL

This new exam which started in 2019 is also called “BULATS LINGUASKILL” and it shares with BULATS the same CPF code, because it is a modernized version of BULATS which now exists in 4 versions, general English or professional English, 2 skills (oral comprehension and written comprehension) or 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Speaking & Writing). English certifications: Cambridge

Cambridge University manages around ten English diplomas: Young Learners, Key English Test, Preliminary English Test, First Certificate, Advanced, Proficiency, BEC (Business English Certificate), etc. These are English certifications which test the 4 linguistic skills (oral and written comprehension as well as oral and written expression), these are certifications which are valid for life while most of its competitors are valid for 2 years. Language certification: Bright language

Bright language certifications are issued by Bright Languages. This test is computerized and delivers results on a scale specific to Bright. These language certifications (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Flemish, Swedish, Mandarin Chinese and Russian) test 2 language skills (oral and written comprehension) and have a validity of 2 years. Language certification: Ev@lang

The Ev@lang language certification is a test developed by the CIEP (International Center for Pedagogical Studies) and computerized which makes it a modern and reliable certification. The Ev@lang certification assesses 2 linguistic skills (oral and written comprehension) for 3 languages at the moment (Arabic, French and English). Ev@lang certification is valid for 2 years. English certification: IELTS

The IELTS English certification managed by Cambridge University makes it possible to validate a level of English sufficient for a university registration abroad. This certification tests the 4 linguistic skills (oral and written comprehension as well as oral and written expression) and has a validity of 2 years. Learn More (soon to be updated)

English certification: TOEFL

The TOEFL English certification published by ETS global (TOEIC editor) validates a level of English sufficient for university registration abroad. English certification: BULATS / LINGUASKILL

The BULATS / LINGUASKILL is the Cambridge University test for professionals and recruiters, it is a business-oriented certification. This exam is computerized which makes it adaptive according to the candidate’s answers. The BULATS / LINGUASKILL is an easy to pass certification because it is possible to do it in individual sessions.
